Free Printable Disney “Bucket List”

When I was planning {what hopefully was} our first trip to Disneyland one of my main concerns centered around my son, who was 4 at the time.

Like a lot of parents, we wondered what age was the best age to take the plunge into the happiest place on earth. We passed on a previous trip to Disney World when he was around 2, because it seemed like it would be more of a beating than it was worth. He was still taking two naps a day at the time (if he could), and just wasn’t really into it yet. By 4 though… He had developed a love for cars that made the trek to see Radiator Springs seem like a no brainer.

Except for one thing… He doesn’t get too excited about trying new things. Add the potential for speed, heights, spinning, and more to that mix and he is sure to be out. Nonchalantly and politely of course, “No thanks, I’m good.”

To help pump him up a bit, we started talking about all of the things that we would see and do while we were there. I’ve found that preparing him and building some anticipation helps build some excitement and move past {some} of his initial hesitations.

I also decided to create   a “Disneyland Bucket List.” It ended up being   a great tool for not only planning what we’d do once we got there, but also talk to him about what to expect the night before and give him a sense of accomplishment to check each of the items off when we got back.

Since every kid is a little bit different, you’ll find that the sheet has been left mostly blank. It’s the perfect canvas to let your creativity run wild as yore creating your OWN bucket list! Feel free to download the printable here, or just click on the photo below.

Love this idea? Snap a quick photo of the   list that your family has made and send it to me! I’d love to see all of your creations!
