Coping with a LACK of #progressonparkford

We’ve had A LOT of work take place in the last few days. It is such a good feeling to see things finally coming together. I thought I was prepared for things to take longer than I expected, but it has definitely been tougher than I imagined it would be.

A few months into our renovation things basically to ground. to. a. halt. I avoided the place all together for a several weeks because I just couldn’t bring myself to go look at the same wood studs… again… and see that we still weren’t ready for inspection.

A Fresh Start #progressonparkford

Some time in 2015 my husband and I decided to refinance our house and get some money to do some minor updates to the place.  Our house was built around 1965, and while the previous owners had done some much needed wall paper removal, painting, floor refinishing, etc., and we had done a master bathroom remodel prior to moving in,  it still felt dated.
